Poquito Moscato $9.50
Lightly sparkling, fruity and sassy, Poquito is small in size but big on taste. Delicate floral aromas combine with a sweet yet refreshing palate of ripe peaches, pears and apricots. Apply liberally at any social occasion. Great right out of the bottle but really amazing with mint and rum as a mojito!
The cool nights at Mendoza's elevation mean there's more than Malbec possible here. This 100% Chardonnay based bubbly offers delicious apple and pear flavors as well as a subtle touch of yeasty fresh baked bread. Soft and creamy on the palate, this is very easy to drink and enjoy. This drinks sooo easily and is ideal for holiday parties.
Col Solivo Prosecco $12.00
Yum! Soft peach and floral notes with a smooth finish. This Prosecco is classified "Extra Dry" which means its a touch sweeter than the "Bruts" that are next to it. A very easy drinking bubbly and a great price!
Casteller Cava $12.00
Casteller usually sells their grapes to high end producers but retains a few of the best acres for this affordable, quality Brut. Slightly higher in elevation allows for better acidity balancing bright clean citrus and green apple flavors. A full year on the lees gives the bread dough nose and depth of character.
Tomasella Ose $15.00
Ready to see what other sweeet bubbles besides Moscato Italy has to offer? From the Northeast of Italy comes this lovely demi-sec. Not quite as sweet as Moscato, and with more body. Lovely plum and cherry flavors. Enjoy on our patios or with our lovely soft goat cheeses next door.
Naveran Cava Vintage Brut $15.00
Yep, vintage Cava for $15. Classic methode champenoisse, 18 mos on the lees, all the right stuff. Slight clean citrus and peach with rounded palate and slight bread dough on the nose.
Tintero Moscato $16.00
Sori Gramella refers to the one of the only single vineyard Moscatos, and Marco is the only producer to bottle this striking limestone amphitheater commercially. Once the 30 year old vines give up their bounty, and the grapes are harvested and pressed, they are kept in stainless steel at a low temperature to prevent fermentation until an order is received in order to provide the freshest wine possible.
Gruet Blanc de Noirs Brut $16.00
A wine that exceeds all expectations. Aged for at least two years, the palate is developed and shows rich complex flavors, creamy texture with amazing raspberry and toasty aromas. A fine salmon color with very aggressive mousse.
Sparkling wine that predates Champagne by at least 150 years! Light, crisp and fruity, if you like Champagne give this a try for a bargain, you wont regret it.
Delicious, full of dark raspberry, violet, rose, blueberry and black pepper aromas & flavors. Called “Old Modena” as the winery in Modena (just above Bologna in Emilia Romagna region) is 150 years old. Done in the "secco" or dry style, this is nothing like the one you'd find in the "olive garden". This is the quintessential wine to drink with a friends on a hot summer day.
Fizz 56 $17.00
Possibly the most beautiful ruby red color you’ll ever see in a glass. This is the red counter to Asti’s Moscato showing intense rose petal and candied cherry aromas. Big, sweet flavors of cherry supported with raspberry and strawberry notes. A fun and irresistibly delicious treat.
Avinyo Cava $17.00
A big favorite of Bitto’s, this lovely vintage Reserva is Spain's throwdown to Champagne. Aromas of bread dough, lemon curd, pineapple and citrus. All old vines of Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel-lo. . . go on taste it. Leave over priced Champagne for the rappers, Cava is where its at!. Best Cava for the dollar ever?
Clerotstein Cremant Alsace $18.00
What a lovely surprise! Bright candied, key lime acidity with light, crisp body and lovely finish. The Alsatians must drink all these themselves as we've never seen one before. Grab some while you can!
Pink sparkling wine from the Alsace region of France, made entirely from Pinot Noir. This is the wine that proves that wine ratings from magazines are total phewy, this is wine's version of a controlled substance. Made just like Champagne with ripe cherry, bread dough and yeast, flowers and great mousse bubbles.
Naveran Dama Cava 2013 $24.00
Chardonnay with some Parellada and aged for a full two years on the lees. This is gorgeous Cava! Intensity of flavor grows over time with grapefruit, orange zest and spicy bread aroma. Awesome mousse gives it a lovely texture in the mouth. Finish is vibrant and lasts.
Perrier Champagne Split $28.00
Dhondt Grellet Champagne $42.00
Grower Champagne done remarkably well. This father son make a number of premier and grand crus and this tastes as good as any. Hints of melon, zesty peach, and an unusual touch of woodsy oak on the nose. Really pretty and intense flavors, especially the peach flavors. Truly gorgeous and one of my absolute favorites.
A long aging provides additional flavors of vanilla, roasted nuts and a hint of toast. A result of the carefully chosen infusion of terroir and reserve wines, the finish is long. Imparting to the finish is lightness from Chardonnay, fruitiness from Pinot Noir and roundness provided by Pinot Meunier.
Full-bodied and intensely flavored, this exhibits mature characteristics of candied fruit, coffee with amazing almond and vanilla pastry. Lovely, sexy with fresh lemon and ginger nuance.. Seamless harmony and texture, with a long, long, long finish.
