Old Soul Zinfandel $12.00
This is Zinfandel out of Lodi, California, made from 50-100 year old vines. The secret is adding a bit of Petite Sirah for structure. Huge, ripe boysenberry, blackberry, mocha and cinnamon make this is a great wine and will make you forget all about 7deadly and cardinal Zins!!!
Two Horns $14.00
In spite of the name, its a balanced and not too heavy CA red blend. Aged in oak for up to 16 months. Zin brings spice and rich fruit, Petite Sirah brings some meaty body and the Cab is a bit of icing on the cake. Goes with BBQ to burgers.
Motto Red Blend $14.00
A nicely composed red blend. The Zin brings soft rich blueberries, the Petite Verdot and Petite Sirah bring some structure and acidity. The result is a blend that can stand toe to toe with the high dollar ones. We like the spice and soft tannins on the finish.
Felline Primitivo Di Manduria $17.00
Adjacent to Salentino in the far south of Italy comes this smooth and rich Primitivo. Either a sister or identical twin of Zinfandel, you will find dark fruit but with a unmistakable sweet earthiness, flowers, figs, balsamic and mocha flavors. A secret gem.
Carol Shelton Wild Thing Zin $18.00
A staff favorite from her visit to Bitto, this organic and wild fermented zin has everything the "famous" ones have at a great price. Aromas of black cherry, ripe plum and raspberry fruit combine with a hint of graphite, cigar box, and vanilla-oak baking spice loveliness.
Moss Roxx Zinfandel $24.00
Made from all 100 year old vines this is crossing over Old Vine into Ancient Vine Zinfandel. All jammy and juicy with loads of black fruits and berries. Shining mocha and vanilla on the finish this will show nicely with any Zin out there, even Orin Swift the Prisoner. Try and see.
OZV Big Bottle $69.00
