Proving we will look anywhere in our quest for wines comes a Spanish Tempranillo made by a German winemaker in the style we usually see reserved for Blaufrankish or Dornfelder. Lovely dark fruit, bit lower alcohol, and great with just a touch of chill. A bit sweet but not too much, this is an affordable fun red that goes down easy!
Mas Sorrer $13.00
Just a lovely little blend from outside Barcelona. Organically grown on just a few acres where the summers are dry and sunny, the winters are cold and the area often feels the effects of "the Cierzo" wind, which contributes to the dryness of the climate. The soils are poor, stony and made up of ochre-coloured limestone.

30-40 year old vines make up this beautiful Tempranillo from the Toro region of Spain. Aged in French oak barrels for 6 months and then for 2 years in concrete. This wine shows aromas of pencil lead and violets with a glass coating, opaque purple color and big cassis, blackberry, touch of earth and, spice.

Organic and aged in oak for a full year, this Spanish red shows beautiful lilac vanilla on the nose with rich plum and blackberry flavors on the palate. From one of the region's oldest and most reputable producers. If you like CA cabs but want something a little more food friendly, this one is right up your alley.

A remarkable white aged 11 months on the lees in French oak from a grape we'd never heard of and one we've never seen in Ribero. The rich buttery oak is the perfect foil for vibrant acidity and richness. Flavors of key lime, peach, apricot, toasty oak, and more. One of our favorites!
One of the best values from the Valdenz estate, this wine is comprised of vineyards planted in several soils of Roa,vines which have been pruned in the traditional manner and grafted on to old vines of the family. Aged for twelve months in French oak, the Senorio de Valdermoso is the result of great work on the vineyards and careful production techniques.
