Overhex Balance Cabernet Overhex Balance Cabernet $12.00

Surprisingly light in style. Nice red currant with blackberry and obvious oak. Meant for a warm evening with burgers or chicken on a patio. Great bang for the buck. No weird funk that often comes with affordable S.A. reds.

Sun and Air Cinsault Sun and Air Cinsault $13.00

One of the parents of Pinotage but not showing the wicked funk that Pinotage can often bring. Definitely earthy, with some smoked beet on the nose and brambly cooked raspberry Serve with a light chill and it goes great with Asian or spicy Mexican fare. Softens with a little air as well. Just a fun little wine at a great price.

Black Elephant Two Dogs A Peacock and a Horse Sav Blanc Black Elephant Two Dogs A Peacock and a Horse Sav Blanc $15.00

A delightful Sav Blanc from S.A. Zesty nose of citrus, passionfruit, pear, and lemongrass with faint, clean stone. On the palate its lively and clean, definitely not overworked like many N.Z. versions. Has body from a little lees and skin contact, finishes with a faint gooseberry and mango.

La Brune The Valley Pinot La Brune The Valley Pinot $16.00

A Burgundian Pinot from S.A.? Yeah right! Well they did it. Bright fruit from clone 777, bit of 668 for structure and the coolest region in the Cape make for the most reserved and classic Pinot you'll find. Purity of fruit, mouthwatering acidity and loads of subtle nuance hiding in their.

  • Armas de Guerra Rose

    #1 Armas de Guerra Rose

My heavens! 50+ year old, organic Mencia vines from some of the highest vineyards in Bierzo. Subtle aromas of strawberry, pink grapefruit and white pepper play with clean river rock minerality touched by zesty key lime. Balance and finish are tied together with a vibrating acidity. Structured and executed like a world class ballerina doing flamenco. Sells out every year for good reason. Lighter than Provence, a different planet than White Zin. The only hard part is only opening one bottle at a time.

  • Bonavita Red

    #3 Bonavita Red

Made from four grapes harvested later than usual to achieve a greater ripeness and smoothness. A deep and inky wine, with ripe plum and blackcurrant aromas. Nice ripe fig and cherry with chocolate and licorice flavors. Just enough oak to give it some backbone. (behind by 3 bottles)

  • Tintero Moscato

    #4 Tintero Moscato

Sori Gramella refers to the one of the only single vineyard Moscatos, and Marco is the only producer to bottle this striking limestone amphitheater commercially. Once the 30 year old vines give up their bounty, and the grapes are harvested and pressed, they are kept in stainless steel at a low temperature to prevent fermentation until an order is received in order to provide the freshest wine possible. (behind by 6 bottles)
