Riesling

Peter Adler Auslese Riesling Peter Adler Auslese Riesling $11.50

An amazing value for Auslese (certified ripeness) fruit from Germany's Mosel River Valley. Classic light petroleum and mineral nose yet flavor sweet and soft with hints of apricots and vanilla cake. A great German staple with pork of all kinds and cheeses from soft Brie to hard Gouda.

Hunky Dory Hunky Dory $13.00

This white blend is unlike your usual NZ Sauv Blanc, an organic blend of Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Riesling done quite dry. Shows honeysuckle, white peach and clean stone on the nose with flavors of apple peach and rose petals. The acid is softer and rounder than sav blanc but crisper than most any Gewurz or Riesling you may have had. Yes, it really is "hunky dory".

Gut Hermannsberg Riesling Trocken Gut Hermannsberg Riesling Trocken $16.00

A blend of five different vineyards, including the top ones showing off the amazingly complex Nahe soil: Lemberg Porphyry, Metaphyre, slate, and terrace gravel. Plus quartz, copper, iron and schist. Riesling the way Germans drink them everyday.

Empire Estate Finger Lakes Dry Riesling Empire Estate Finger Lakes Dry Riesling $17.00

Sharp citrus and faint tropical aromas with abundant minerality. Medium bodied and dry, this wine is pleasantly acidic with impressive balance and some spritz. Green apple, grapefuit, tropical fruit, and smoky stone flavors show that New York wines are becoming world class!

Kerpen Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese Kerpen Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese $30.00

From one of the highest rated producers in the highest rated vineyard. We can't believe we got some of this amazing wine. Pear, mango, honeysuckle, aromas of lily and the Mosel's amazing slate and bright acidity. Just stunning, we found it on a closeout at an unbelievable price.

GransFassian GransFassian $32.00

Expressive white peaches, beautiful fruit, harmoniously balanced with racy acidity and lovely structure. From the Mosel Valley, the premier region for this grape. Not super sweet, coming in at 11% and showing when Riesling is done right, it is truly ethereal.
