Black Oak Pinot Noir $10.00
From the warm south of Italy comes this earth yet bright Pinot. Deep, ruby in color with a lovely bouquet of sweet spices, even a dusting of cinnamon and nutmeg. Ripe black cherry and some plum tones meld into a smooth, velvety finish.
Pietraluna Negramaro $13.00
The wine is inky purple with tar and black fruit aromas, a gutsy middle and round, moderately tannic end that almost needs chewing. Itís a great deal and truly a wine to work with tomato sauce and herbs better than chianti!
Adjacent to Salentino in the far south of Italy comes this smooth and rich Primitivo. Either a sister or identical twin of Zinfandel, you will find dark fruit but with a unmistakable sweet earthiness, flowers, figs, balsamic and mocha flavors. A secret gem.
