Fundraising and Charitable Events

For organizations based in Denver, Broomfield, Westminster, Thornton and throughout the Front Range, Bitto is an easy and fun place to host a fundraiser or charitable event. We have a number of innovative and effective ways to work with you!

“Share the Bill” minimum 20ppl

Available most days, although a challenge on a Friday or Saturday, (we’d hate to have to turn away your potential contributors because we were full!) just have your supporters come wine and dine here at Bitto Bistro. Your group will collect 15% of the total bill (food and alcohol). We can also share the same promotion for the day at the Orchard Wine Cellar.

Bitto can create special wine tasting flights for your visit.

Wine Tastings/Workshops

With most of our staff holding at least a level 1 WSET Wine Certification, Bitto is the best place to have a fun and educational wine tasting. Suggested price $20-$30 a person, 50/50 split. Suggest a topic or choose from the following:

  • Spain & Portugal
  • Italy
  • France
  • California
  • Pinot in all colors.
  • Unusual grapes you should be drinking.
  • Bubbly!
  • Winemaking & Viticulture

Wine Auctions - New!!

our own cellphone auctions We will provide a number of wines to you at wholesale cost that will be part of a live auction and wine tasting. Have your supporters blind taste a number of wines and then use their smartphones to bid on the wines offered. The number of wines offered can be adjusted according to the number of guests. The revenue potential on this is truly remarkable. Imagine a $10 per bottle wine going for $25 a bottle? And imagine that if just 3 cases are sold in a single auction, your group would make $15 X 12 bottles per case X 3 cases = $540! Now imagine 3 or 4 auctions per night! Plus the wine tasting itself can be sold and costs split 50/50 with Bitto Bistro providing another revenue source. No upfront charge, minimum of 30 people required and not available Friday or Saturday nights.

Orchard Wine Cellar Movers and Shakers This Week

  • Bonavita Red

    #1 Bonavita Red

Made from four grapes harvested later than usual to achieve a greater ripeness and smoothness. A deep and inky wine, with ripe plum and blackcurrant aromas. Nice ripe fig and cherry with chocolate and licorice flavors. Just enough oak to give it some backbone.
    (Holding the #1 spot)

  • Tintero Moscato

    #2 Tintero Moscato

Sori Gramella refers to the one of the only single vineyard Moscatos, and Marco is the only producer to bottle this striking limestone amphitheater commercially. Once the 30 year old vines give up their bounty, and the grapes are harvested and pressed, they are kept in stainless steel at a low temperature to prevent fermentation until an order is received in order to provide the freshest wine possible. (behind by 16 bottles)

  • Baglio delle Fate

    #3 Baglio delle Fate

A native grape of Sicily, this 100% Nero d'Avola is a great deal! Brambly red, blue and black fruits, savory dried herbs and earth. Full body, juicy, smooth tannins! (behind by 2 bottles)

  • Armas de Guerra Rose

    #4 Armas de Guerra Rose

My heavens! 50+ year old, organic Mencia vines from some of the highest vineyards in Bierzo. Subtle aromas of strawberry, pink grapefruit and white pepper play with clean river rock minerality touched by zesty key lime. Balance and finish are tied together with a vibrating acidity. Structured and executed like a world class ballerina doing flamenco. Sells out every year for good reason. Lighter than Provence, a different planet than White Zin. The only hard part is only opening one bottle at a time. (behind by 4 bottles)

Fun New Arrivals

  • Dancing Pines Gin

    Dancing Pines Gin

A beautiful Colorado original. An aromatic, dry, refreshing spirit crafted with 6 botanicals, each contributing a unique component to the harmonious whole. Lovely bright citrus comes through on the finish prompting another sip, and another..

  • Schieferkopf

    Schieferkopf

Acid freaks rejoice! This dry Riesling shows the classic stone minerality and petrol on the nose with floral aromatics as well. The palate yields citrus, green apple and stonefruits with mouth watering acidity. A great food wine or one simply just to drink.

  • Amon Ra

    Amon Ra

The 2014 Amon Ra reflects the tried and true essence of the Glaetzer style - generosity of flavor with finesse of structure. The inky purple color displays the gentle but full extraction. The nose shows an abundance of dark blueberry, vanilla, black cherry and hints of cassis with notes of mixed spice and anise. Although still young and firmly wound, the vibrant blackberry and dried spice flavors integrate well with youthful yet supple tannins with the trademark loooong and sleek finish. Meant to go 10 to 15 years to hit its prime.

  • Three Brooms

    Three Brooms

This single vineyard, certified sustainable sav blanc shows lovely white flower, chili pepper, and gooseberry on the nose with some sandy mineralogy. Very nice weight and balance showing passion fruit, ripe apple flavors. Such a pleasant surprise is the roundness, the acid is lively and energetic but not abrasive.
