Lab White $10.00
Terrapura Carmenere $12.00
Lovely soft green pepper nose with mineral and an herbal touch blended with tobacco and flowers. Black fruits and dried figs on the nose combine with soft and juicy tannins and concentrated fresh fruit flavors. Fire up the BBQ and grill some steaks or Portobello mushrooms to eat alongside a glass. It would be great with Mexican food as well with its subtle spice notes.
Lagar de Bezana $14.00
Small production, 2,500 cases a year, high altitude, single vineyard Cab from atop the Cachapoal mountain range in Chile. Showing blueberry, black fruit, bell pepper, vanilla and baking spice. Chewy tannin with a lingering finish. Begging for a ribeye and a fireplace.
Prisma $15.00
From the steep, high elevation vineyards of Casablanca, this sustainably farmed Sauv Blanc has everything going its way. Aromatic nose, bright palate, lemon, lime grapefruit and undertones of minerality. Mouth watering deliciousness, pairs excellent with a variety of foods.
Casa Toqui Cabernet Sauvignon $16.00
The world is awakening to Chilean Cab. This one has bright cassis and blackberry fruit with lots of toasty oak. Nicely balanced acidity with the fruit from a cooler but still sunny region in Chile.
Matorral $19.00
200 year old bush vines are dry farmed to create a robust, deeply concentrated wine among the rolling hillsides of the Maule Valley in Chile. Spicy raspberry and cherry notes, an undertone of savory smoky notes and dried herbs. Medium body with noticeable tannin, natural winemaking style with no filtering.
Polkura Secano dry farm $35.00
Single vineyard Syrah from Chile. Dry farm meaning no irrigation so the roots have to struggle to go deep in the soil for water and nutrients. The result is a totally unexpected wine. Candied peach, melon and subtle red fruits and pepper. One would never guess this is a syrah on a blind tasting. Do yourself a favor and get one!!
