Graziano Arneis $13.00
Arneis is a rare, ancient white grape variety from near Barolo all but abandoned because of its low yields and viticultural challenges. Of course we love it here at Bitto! Seldom seen outside the Piedmont, this lovely has the flavor and big, dry palate to succeed where a flabby Chardonnay fails, especially with flavorful seafood and poultry. Lovely hints of pear, anise, almonds and Gala apples matched with great acid structure.
Cordero Langhe Arneis $18.00
A white wine from La Morra in Barolo! Bright straw color with an intense nose of peach and acacia flowers, chamomile, and barely ripe melon. Solid body from three months on the lees. A secret find that may become your favorite go-to white. Seriously, when has anything from the Piedmont not impressed!?
