Live Music at 6- Cost-Free

Rebecca Abraxas, through the years, has been an integral part of Boulder, Colorado’s music scene. She was the first performer on Boulder’s Public Access T.V. series, the “Naked Stage”, where one of her songs became their theme song for the show. She joined the female singer/songwriter movement, “Women From Mars”, for many of the shows in Boulder. She also hosted the “Where’s Richard” women’s music show at the late Penny Lane Coffee House. Over the years, people have raved about the unforgettable quality of Rebecca Abraxas’ voice and the soul she has given her songs.

Today Rebecca Abraxas continues to share live music in the Boulder and Denver area with a variety of audiences including Health Care Seniors and Children.  Rebecca leads music performances, Keynote Concerts, workshops, private sound healing sessions, as well as expressive arts sessions.   She has been invited to sing at Unity and New Thought churches and continues to share music in the community through house concerts, art walks and other gatherings.Rebecca is a wonderful candidate for music festivals, retreats and conferences.

Rebecca’s songs are inspired by the plight of one’s journey to live the best life he or she can. Inspired by songwriters such as Jim Croce, Bruce Springsteen, Carol King, John Denver, Paul Simon and Billy Joel, Rebecca writes songs that have heart strings as well as wings. Rebecca Abraxas has 3 CDs of her own and has made vocal appearances on several others including that of Krieg Vessleman’s. Rebecca’s CDs, “Alive in Longmont” and “The Offering”, were both made with live audiences. Rebecca’s most recent CD, “When Heaven Meets Hell,” was a studio project released in May 2012. This CD is a collection of songs that address stories of over coming obstacles and staying true to oneself. “When Heaven Meets Hell” was funded by friends and fans through an Indie-GoGo Campaign.  With 15 songs ready to be recorded, Rebecca stays active with songwriting and is plotting out her next CD project.

Orchard Wine Cellar Movers and Shakers This Week

  • Bonavita Red

    #1 Bonavita Red

Made from four grapes harvested later than usual to achieve a greater ripeness and smoothness. A deep and inky wine, with ripe plum and blackcurrant aromas. Nice ripe fig and cherry with chocolate and licorice flavors. Just enough oak to give it some backbone.
    (Holding the #1 spot)

  • Sweet Sunset Chocolate Merlot

    #2 Sweet Sunset Chocolate Merlot

First lets say that this is Not ChocoVine. This wine is actually made with eighty five percent Merlot and than has natural chocolate cream added to the mix. This is the wine for anyone looking for sweet red or the chocolate lover at home. Great gift for the holidays. (behind by 13 bottles)

  • Tintero Moscato

    #3 Tintero Moscato

Sori Gramella refers to the one of the only single vineyard Moscatos, and Marco is the only producer to bottle this striking limestone amphitheater commercially. Once the 30 year old vines give up their bounty, and the grapes are harvested and pressed, they are kept in stainless steel at a low temperature to prevent fermentation until an order is received in order to provide the freshest wine possible. (behind by 5 bottles)

  • Armas de Guerra Rose

    #4 Armas de Guerra Rose

My heavens! 50+ year old, organic Mencia vines from some of the highest vineyards in Bierzo. Subtle aromas of strawberry, pink grapefruit and white pepper play with clean river rock minerality touched by zesty key lime. Balance and finish are tied together with a vibrating acidity. Structured and executed like a world class ballerina doing flamenco. Sells out every year for good reason. Lighter than Provence, a different planet than White Zin. The only hard part is only opening one bottle at a time. tied
