Delas Freres Croze Hermitage - $17.00

Delas Freres Croze Hermitage(No rating yet)

Nice meaty Syrah dominates but well balanced with spice, blackberry and some herbal notes. A bit of violet shows from the 10% Grenache. Good structure, nice clean peppery finish in an easy drinking wine that pairs with just about anything!

The Côtes-du-Rhône Saint-Esprit is made from a blend of 90 percent Syrah and 10 percent Grenache grapes, which come from a small village in the Ardèche region. The vineyard's southern exposure on steep granite hillsides provides the best growing conditions for the vines. Average production is 450,000 bottles per year. All the grapes are de-stemmed. Fermentation and maceration take place in closed vats for approximately 15 days. Daily pumping over ensures extraction. Fermentation temperature is controlled and kept between 82°F and 86°F. After de-vatting, pressing and racking, malolactic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel vats. Part of the wine (30%) is aged in oak barrels as to provide a touch of wood in the blend. The remaining is kept in vats to preserve fruit aromas. These wines are racked regularly in order to allow their components to stabilize naturally. The Saint Esprit cuvée is bottled after blending and light filtering.

  • Bonavita Red

    #1 Bonavita Red

Made from four grapes harvested later than usual to achieve a greater ripeness and smoothness. A deep and inky wine, with ripe plum and blackcurrant aromas. Nice ripe fig and cherry with chocolate and licorice flavors. Just enough oak to give it some backbone.

  • Tintero Moscato

    #2 Tintero Moscato

Sori Gramella refers to the one of the only single vineyard Moscatos, and Marco is the only producer to bottle this striking limestone amphitheater commercially. Once the 30 year old vines give up their bounty, and the grapes are harvested and pressed, they are kept in stainless steel at a low temperature to prevent fermentation until an order is received in order to provide the freshest wine possible. • Pietraluna Negramaro

    #3 Pietraluna Negramaro

The wine is inky purple with tar and black fruit aromas, a gutsy middle and round, moderately tannic end that almost needs chewing. It’s a great deal and truly a wine to work with tomato sauce and herbs better than chianti! (behind by 8 bottles)

  • Denver Beer Princess Yum Yum

#4 Denver Beer Princess Yum Yum

Princess Yum Yum is a sparkly beauty. Brewed as a German style Kölsch and fermented with real raspberries, she has the color and clarity of a ruby. At 4.8% ABV she is enticing and inviting, yet the tart, dry finish makes her just as complex as any royal. There are plenty of reasons you’ll want your own Princess Yum Yum. tied
